Ecuador and Galapagos
Day 1.- Arrival to Quito
Day 2.- Quito - Otavalo
Visit Quito of the historic center recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site , a lot of churchs that speaks of colonial times, the Society of Jesus is one of the most representative and Baroque , the Palace of Government and Piazza Grande.
In the afternoon we travel to Otavalo on our private transport.
Day 3.- Otavalo - Cuicocha
We leave early in the morning to walk on the edge of the crater of the Cuicocha volcano , inside there is a gap and two islands rich in flora and fauna. Hike 3-4 hours, we can observe orchids and cloud forest . The highest point is 3500 meters .
In the afternoon we visit the Peguche a town known for its music and tissues.
Day 4.- Otavalo – Fuyafuya 4260 m.s.m. Otavalo.
We leave very early in the morning until Monjanda 3740 meters, from here we begin our ascent to the summit of the volcano Fuyafuya who nominates the region and a beautiful viewpoint to the Andes . Return to Otavalo and visit the Plaza de Ponchos.
Day 5.- Otavalo - Papallacta – Punta Ahuano
We leave very early in our private transport, following the route of Cinnamon pass by the hot springs of Papallacta to enjoy its hot springs and continue to the Amazon.
Day 6.-Amazonia
Walk through the rainforest, the guide will tell us about use of medicinal plants , building materials. In the afternoon we have gaps options is view of a animal rescue center.
Day 7.- Amazonia
Walk through the jungle for 4 hours and in the afternoon visit of an Indian family.
Day 8.- Amazonia - Baños
We will go to Baños passing by the Avenue of waterfalls, and jumping bridge and cable cars. Visit the City Baños .
Day 9.- Baños
In the morning we climb up to 3400 meters and descend by bike 1800 meters enjoying a variety of landscapes.
Day 10.- Baños – Chimborazo - Riobamba
Drive to the Chimborazo, the highest mountain in Ecuador to walk up to 5300 meters. In the afternoon we reach Riobamba, a small city tour..
Day 11,- Riobamba Train Nariz del Diablo - Ingapirca - Cuenca
We leave very early in the morning to catch the train and explore one of the most exceptional landscapes of our country the Devil's Nose, after two hours of travel we take our transport to continue to Ingapirca, the most important and best preserved Inca archeological site of our country , after two hours of travel we arrived in Cuenca.
Day 12.- Cuenca
We visited this beautiful city, recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, factory straw hats known as Panama Hut , El Turi viewpoint and the Museum of the Central Bank of Ecuador.
Day 13.- Cuenca – Parque Nacional cajas - Cuenca
Visit an orchid and market in Gualace , Sigsig recognized by weaving Panama hat. Return to Cuenca.
Day 14.- Cuenca – Guayaquil
We head to Guayaquil in our transportation for 4 hours, visit the Iguanas Park , the Malecon 200 and the Lighthouse.
Day 15 Guayaquil - San Cristobal
We will arrive in the morning to San Cristobal to settle into our hotel and then walk to the viewpoint of Tijretas .
Day 16.- San Cristobal - Leon Dormido
We walk to the Lagoon Junco and then visited a turtle farm, in the afternoon we visited Kicker Rock.
Day 17.- San Cristobal – Isla Floreana
In the morning we go to visit a small island to swim and admire the fauna and flora, in the afternoon transfer by boat 2 hours to Floreana Island where we spent the night.
Day 18.- Isla Floreana - Isabela
In the morning we leave to visit a Galapagos tortoise reserve with a small walk and snorkling before taking the boat for 2 hours to Isabela Island where we spend the night.
Day 19.- We walk for eight hours to Sierra Negra, by different climatic zones and admire the highest point of this volcanic island around the beautiful scenery of nature.
Day 20.- Isabela - Santa Cruz
In the morning we visited the mangrove swam and in the afternoon we take our boat to take us to Santa Cruz. Free afternoon to enjoy the beach.
Day 21.- Santa Cruz
In the morning we visit the beach and in the afternoon an interpretation center .
Day 22.- Transfer to the airport to return to Quito.
Day 23.- Quito – Aeropuerto.
